When Janelle Brown was younger, she married Adam Barber. He was also Meri Brown’s brother and that was Janelle connected with the Brown family. Eventually, Janelle and Adam divorced and she became involved with Kody Brown. He wed Meri in 1990 and by 1993, Janelle became his second wife. In 1994, they took on Christine Brown Woolley as wife number three and in 2010, Robyn Brown became wife number four. Janelle had always said how she liked the idea of a plural family because she loved working and having freedom. Though she had six children with Kody, Christine was the housewife.

She taught and raised the children with Janelle saying it allowed her time to herself. Over the years, she has given Christine a lot of credit for being a mother to her kids and they have offered many kudos. They were extremely supportive of Christine when she left Kody and found a new love in David Woolley. Twelve out of thirteen kids invited were there which speaks volumes. Janelle ended up leaving Kody and is living her best life. Now, she is sharing the shocking future she had envisioned thanks to TLC.

Janelle Brown sat down in the hot seat for a power round of questions and she would tell her 20-year-old self to just do it. She wanted to get a Jeep, a dog, and drive to Colorado but she didn’t because that was too risky. Something people don’t know about her is that her musical taste is eclectic. It goes from rock and headbanging to German industrial and Rob Zombie which freaks people out. I Should’ve Known Better would have been the title of her biography. Kind, stoic, and intelligent is how she would describe herself.
