OutDaughtered: The Show’s Return Triggered Busby Girls’ Anxiety?
OutDaughtered has been on the air for eight years now. Adam and Danielle Busby had signed a deal with TLC to showcase their life living with the Quints, and they didn’t look back. Now, fans are gearing up to watch them again in a new season. Over the years, the little munchkins have grown so much in many ways than one and it has been a delight to watch them.
Around the time COVID came into being, Adam and Danielle had decided to take a break from the show. They were on hiatus for about two years, and fans started to accept that they might not return. But that’s when the Busbys surprised them by marking the end of their hiatus with Season 9. Now that the next season is almost here, fans feel it might not be the best idea for the family to continue doing the show. Why is that?
OutDaughtered: Fans Feel The Show’s Return Caused The Girls To Have Anxiety!
Things are going to get quite real in the upcoming OutDaughtered season. The fans saw in the trailer how the quints will be starting the third grad. Hence, they will have their fair share of struggles. It was Danielle who cried in front of the camera in a clip. She did so while saying she and Adam were “too late” to catch “it.” But they didn’t reveal the issue or what “it” referred to. However, the quints also looked quite disturbed.
Then, in another clip, Blayke was adamant about making it to her school’s volleyball team. But soon, the scene changed, and Adam was comforting her. Then, Danielle said in the background that she may have had her first panic attack. It was quite worrisome for the OutDaughtered fans to see the girls in such a condition. So, a discussion began on Reddit talking about this.
Many viewers began to say that the Busby girls were anxious as they have grown up with cameras following them most of the time, like a fishbowl. The Redditors also slammed Adam and Danielle Busby for returning to the show and “suddenly” changing their minds and using moneybag emojis. It became clear they were trying to imply that the family didn’t care about their daughters’ mental health before deciding to return.
Some said the Busbys had blocked their account. It hapened when they tried to talk about how the parents must be exploiting their kids in front of the camera. So, many agreed that it wasn’t a good look on Adam and Danielle. Some are done with the show and said they would spare themselves from watching the little ones in such a state on national TV.
OutDaughtered: Fans Want TLC To Focus More On The Quints & Less On Adam & Danielle’s Marital Problems
The Busby quints are the main characters of the show. It’s been eight years since fans saw Ava, Olivia, Parker, Hazel, and Riley grow up on the screen. But as the new seasons have premiered, the show has often taken a dark turn and not been all happy and cutesy. Fans got to see a huge chunk of Danielle and Adam’s martial issues last season. The new season’s trailer suggested it would happen again.
So many Redditors began to complain about this. They said the show was better when the focus was solely on quints and not on Adam and Danielle’s bickering. Hence, they wanted TLC to bring back the old format as it was more likable and watchable at that time.
