90 Day Fiance: Michael Ilesanmi & Angela Deem’s Nasty Legal Battles
Angela has been trying to go after Michael on and off the cameras. The Georgia native filed for annulment earlier this month, accusing her estranged husband of committing marriage fraud. This prompted the Nigerian man to seek help online by launching a fundraiser. He achieved his $25,000 goal and even exceeded it to $40,000 plus.
However, Michael caught many people off guard by counter-filing for a divorce and asking for spousal support. This would result in Angeal splitting all of her assets with Michael. According to some, Michael may have exposed his true motives by trying to take a huge sum of money from his wife. Others also think it puts the reality show in question, as things may be far different behind the cameras.
Michael Breaks Silence About The Day He Left Angela
During the latest episode of HEA Tell-All, Michael and Angela were interviewed through separate video calls. Michael took the opportunity to address the time when he “escaped” from his wife. According to the 90 Day Fiance star, they were living a normal life in the U.S. when Angela suddenly became angry towards him, and things have never been the same for them since. “She started giving me attitude and saying all sorts of things to me. So it got to a point — I just had to leave,” he added.
Michael Ilesanmi later confessed that he took the opportunity to escape when Angela Deem left their house to run some errands. “I went to the closet, picked up my backpack and my essential documents and my jacket, and I left the house,” he said. The Nigerian man confessed that he walked for five hours and even begged a random man to use his phone so he could reach out to his friends for help. Michael didn’t exactly share when he was on the video call. But he said that it took him about 18 hours to get there. There are conflicting reports as to what really happened that day. Once these two go to court the public will have more information on what really happened.
90 Day Fiance: Will TLC Bring Back Michael Ilesanmi & Angela Deem?
TLC has yet to share their plans for Angela and Michael amid their nasty situation. The network is known for parting ways with cast members who get into legal trouble. However, the married couple has brought in so much viewership over the years, making them one of the most popular couples in the franchise. There are speculations that TLC may bring Michael back in the upcoming season of 90 Day: The Single Life, where he’ll find a new partner. But Angela previously threatened the network with doing projects with TLC as they’re still legally married.
