She didn’t return to the show and instead exposed TLC for fake storylines.
Amidst all this, Devan had also shared another devastating news about her son Taeyang. The poor soul had been diagnosed with cancer. He was merely three years old. She shared details about his battles and also started a GoFundMe to take care of his medical expenses. After two years of turmoil, Devan finally revealed her baby boy didn’t have cancer anymore!
90 Day Fiance: Deavan & The Hospital Celebrate As Taeyang Is Cancer Free Now!
Deavan Clegg had to go through many hardships while she was 90 Day Fiance. She dealt with an unexpected pregnancy while in Korea with Jihoon, and even when they tried to make their relationship work, it ended devastatingly. So, she came back to the US, found another partner and began living a happy life with her three kids.
But in 2022, Deavan shared a horrid news. It was every parent’s worst nightmare. She revealed that her son Taeyang had been diagnosed with a rare kind of blood cancer. So, she started a GoFundMe to collect proceedings to support his medical expenses. After undergoing chemotherapy and multiple other health setbacks, her son is out of danger.
Deavan shared a joyous reel on her Instagram. It showed her baby boy surrounded by happy hospital nurses who sang “no more chemo” to the tune of “We will rock you” by Queen. As a tradition, they also provided Tayang with a bell to ring thrice. The little one also clapped with everyone, and many 90 Day Fiance fans sent blessings to the family.
90 Day Fiance: Deavan Says Her Son Is The Strongest Person She Knows!
In a very emotional post, Deavan talked about all the challenges the family had to undergo while Taeyang battled cancer. 90 Day Fiance fans teared up after she called her son the “strongest person she knew” and also very “Resilient.” She was also grateful for the “wealth of knowledge” and “gratitude” she had gained over the last two years.
Deavan continued to thank everyone who made Taeyang’s recovery possible. It included all the dedicated doctors and nurses, the ones who supported the family during such a time and also the Make A Wish foundation. She said their support was “incredible” and how she was “forever grateful” for it.
Many 90 Day FIance cast members, especially young moms including Tiffany Franco and Paola Mayfield, congratulated Deavan.
