But once the Little People, Big World cast members split up, he didn’t get to enjoy her home-cooked meals as often. So, he had to learn how to cook for himself. He doesn’t claim to be a professional chef. But he has learned a few easy meals to cook over the years.

Matt did find love again after divorcing Amy. He and Caryn Chandler have been together for years. And now that they are set to wed, they built a home together. Caryn admits that she isn’t the biggest fan of cooking. So, she won’t be in the kitchen as much as Amy was. Yet, she does cook him meals. But when she is not around, he has to go back to his easy-to-cook meals.

Matt Reveals Easy-to-Cook Meal

Matt recently shared one of his favorite go-to meals when he is left to cook his own dinner. He takes premade rice that you only have to warm it up in the microwave. He puts it in the microwave for 90 seconds. Once the rice is ready, he adds a little soy sauce for flavor.

However, the Little People, Big World castmate doesn’t forget to get protein. So, he adds sardines to the rice. He explains that the sardines are cooked in extra virgin olive oil. He even uses the leftover sauce and adds it to the dish.

Matt says that sardines are his “absolute favorite” thing to eat. He feels that people who don’t eat sardines are missing out on a “very yummy meal.”

Little People, Big World Celeb’s Cooking Doesn’t Impress Fans

Matt Roloff’s go-to meal didn’t impress fans.
